The special press event, held on 9 May 2026, offered invited guests, media representatives, creatives, and industry insiders a first glimpse into what promises to become one of the city’s most exciting new fashion experiences, leading up to the main showcase taking place on 13 June 2026.
Created by renowned London-based makeup artist and creative entrepreneur Helen Anderson, London Swim Week was established to bring fresh energy and international visibility to the swimwear and resort wear industry. With more than two decades of experience working across fashion, beauty, luxury brands, television, and major runway productions including London and Milan Fashion Week, Helen has become widely respected for her creative vision and industry expertise. Inspired by the success of her own swimwear label, Watababe, she launched London Swim Week as a dynamic platform designed to celebrate creativity, diversity, innovation, and emerging talent within the global fashion community.
The recent press preview introduced a curated selection of designers and brands that will participate in the highly anticipated June event. Among the standout names was Lady Survivors Swimwear, a brand created with a meaningful mission of empowerment and resilience. Inspired by the founder’s personal journey following a breast cancer diagnosis and mastectomy, the collection focuses on elegant, feminine, and confidence-enhancing swimwear designed for women embracing strength, healing, and self-love.
Guests also discovered the sophisticated creations of Blauw van C, a jewellery brand deeply influenced by travel, artistic expression, and emotional storytelling. Combining a refined aesthetic with versatility, the brand presents timeless jewellery pieces thoughtfully designed to complement personal style, memories, and individual moods, allowing women to create effortlessly elegant combinations.
