On the eve of Milan Fashion Week’s official commencement in February 2025—a highly anticipated gathering for fashion industry experts showcasing the latest autumn/winter collections from designers across the globe—a prestigious runway show curated by Prasanna Weerasooriya once again captivated fashion lovers, professionals, and international media.
As a leading figure in the fashion world, Prasanna Weerasooriya—well-known for his contributions to Paris Fashion Week and Le Dubai Fashion Week—assembled top-tier talents for this much-awaited spectacle.
Hosted within the sophisticated setting of the Melià Hotel, a distinguished venue in Milan, the «One of the Most Grand Fashion Shows» unfolded on Monday, February 24. More than 100 elite international models showcased an exclusive preview of haute couture designs from fashion creators spanning multiple continents, including Italy, China, the USA, the Dominican Republic, France, Algeria, Romania, Germany, India, Egypt, Slovakia, and Monaco.

A select audience of approximately 400 VIP guests attended the event, complemented by an extensive media presence consisting of journalists, fashion bloggers, editors from renowned magazines, photographers, and television crews from Italy and abroad. Designed and orchestrated by Prasanna Weerasooriya, the event was skillfully presented by the accomplished Stefania Pacchiega.
