VALENTINO MELE
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection was born as a heartfelt tribute to the silent strength and innate elegance of an extraordinary woman — Maria, the designer’s grandmother. Each piece tells a fragment of her story: moments from her childhood, memories of vibrant Sundays spent in her beloved village, and the warmth of a woman admired by all who knew her.
This collection honors the beauty of small things, just as Maria did — transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary with care, passion, and love. It celebrates her simple yet profound gestures, her silent resilience, and the comforting warmth she conveyed through a glance or a shared meal.
In this line, shapes, colors, and materials intertwine to express the gentle soul of Maria, affectionately remembered as Serena the Great. Every detail becomes a fragment of memory, echoing her ability to find beauty everywhere — especially in life’s simplest moments.
The collection stands as a thread weaving together past and present, tradition and inspiration, heart and hands. Each piece is conceived as an embrace, each stitch a tribute to memory and love — a timeless expression of authentic beauty and elegance that transcends generations.

«My fashion collection presented at the Paris Fashion Show organized by Prasanna Weerasooriya is titled «Moonlight.» A mystical tale of passion and emotion, a representation of joy and desire, my collection comes to life through colors, the texture of the fabric, and the sheer lines and lines.
As the moon rises, the colors transform and shine, an explosion of golden and silver light on the blue sea. The moon is like a mysterious woman, a Goddess, a dream come true.
For me, fashion is art, passion, history, and a testimony to times past and present.
An unwritten message, conveyed through creativity, which for me signifies the connection between the mind, heart, soul, and knowledge».
