Women’s Fashion and Design Week Returns to Miami This Women’s History Month with the Theme «THE THRESHOLD»

The Women’s Fashion and Design Week (WFDW), powered by the Wonder Woman Initiative, makes its return this year from March 6 to 9, 2025.

Under the theme «THE THRESHOLD,» this edition delves into the transformative power of design and the pivotal moments that pave the way for new beginnings and positive change. WFDW 2025 will bring together changemakers, designers, and industry leaders to celebrate women’s voices and drive social progress.

WFDW transcends the boundaries of traditional fashion and design events, using its platform to champion social change and amplify women’s voices. This year’s event presents a dynamic lineup of activities, including a business strategy retreat, an exclusive networking gathering, a grand showcase and awards ceremony, and a closing brunch celebration.

Day 1: Wonder Woman Emerge Retreat

A full-day business strategy retreat in partnership with the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) at the luxurious Betsy Hotel in South Beach. This retreat will offer strategic masterminds, expert guidance, skill-building panel discussions, funding and certification pathways, and networking opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

Day 2: Meet & Greet with Changemakers

An exclusive opportunity to connect with press, media, changemakers, and influencers who are driving positive transformation in their communities.

Day 3: Grand Showcase & Awards Ceremony

The highlight of WFDW, featuring runway shows by visionary designers such as Melony Huber of La Peony Clothing, Mercedes Brunelli of Mercedes Brunelli Collections, Tayo Ishola Aranmolado of I Am Eido, and more. The event will also include inspiring storytelling, musical and dance performances, Spanish fusion cuisine, and an awards ceremony honoring influential women such as Jené Luciani Sena, Brooke Mullen, and Sherrel Sampson.

Day 4: Women of Influence Brunch

A sophisticated closing event at El Patio Miami Beach, providing attendees with the opportunity to connect with fellow changemakers, forge partnerships, and celebrate the achievements of remarkable women.

«The Threshold» symbolizes the liminal space where new beginnings take root and the ripple effects of change begin to unfold. WFDW 2025 embraces this powerful theme, acknowledging the unexpected beauty that can emerge from disruption. The event will explore how design can serve as a catalyst for transformation, empowering women to push boundaries and shape the future they envision.
